Dr. Sheena graduated from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Life Sciences and completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She completed her internship and externship experiences downtown Toronto and around the Durham Region treating patients with chronic pain, pregnancy, paediatrics, and general conditions. To optimize patient wellness, Sheena believes in evidence-based care and uses diversified treatment techniques, including manual therapy. Sheena believes that pain management, functional rehabilitation, and comprehensive education are the key components of individualized treatment plans. She tailors her treatments according to each patient’s individual needs and focuses on restoring them to their highest level of functioning. She believes in providing compassionate care and creating a supportive environment for patients. Sheena is passionate about helping her patients achieve the best possible outcomes. As a certified Functional Acupuncturist and Dry Needling Practitioner, she also holds a Webster Technique Certification from the International Chiropractic and Pediatric Association. The things she enjoys in her free time include trail walking, going on hikes, and trying out new foods at restaurants or at home.
